14 Sep Joint Force Alba awarded Silver Employer Recognition Award
Joint Force Alba are delighted to confirm that we have been awarded Silver in the 2021 Employer Recognition Scheme.
This award scheme recognises significant support provided by organisations to the military community. All winners, of Bronze, Silver and Gold are signatories to the Armed Forces Covenant. Defence Relationship Management, part of the Ministry of Defence, manage the scheme. It is supported by the regional Reserve Forces and Cadet Associations (RFCA).
Commenting on the award, Director Emma Davies said, “One of the first things we did when we set up as a Company was sign the Armed Forces Covenant. Then, within the nearly 2.5 years that we’ve been operating, we’ve won Bronze & now Silver as recognition for the work we do supporting Armed Forces Veteran employment in Scotland”.
Joint Force Alba supports employers in Scotland to successfully recruit and retain ex-Forces employees. We offer this service in 2 ways. We can work with you as a partner in your recruitment process to identify & provide ex-Forces applicants via a recruitment agency basis. Alternatively, we can work with organisations to help them set up their own direct recruitment channels of ex-Forces employees.
We are 1 of 13 Silver award winners in Scotland this year. Winners in Scotland cover from the Scottish Borders to the Western Isles and north-east Scotland. They come from both the private and charitable sectors and range in size from sole traders to large businesses.
